Every child deserves an education that shapes both mind and character. Since 2001, SLS Scholars School has been committed to creating an environment where children are encouraged to learn with curiosity, grow with confidence, and lead with values.
Over the years, classrooms have changed, technology has evolved, and generations of students have passed through our gates. But one thing has remained constant โ our commitment to every child who becomes an SLS Scholar.
Every institution has a beginning. Ours began with a vision to create a school where academic learning and strong values could grow together.
Founded in 2001, SLS Scholars School began its journey with the belief that education should do more than prepare children for examinations โ it should help them become knowledgeable, confident, disciplined, compassionate and responsible individuals.
What started as a vision gradually became a community. Students became scholars. Teachers became mentors. Parents became partners. And year after year, new generations became part of the SLS family.
Today, as we celebrate 25 years of SLS Scholars School, we look back with gratitude at the people who built our journey, and forward with excitement at the possibilities ahead.
2001 was our beginning. 2026 is a milestone. The story is still being written.
SLS Scholars School begins its journey with a vision to provide meaningful education rooted in knowledge, discipline and values.
Classrooms grew, teachers joined the journey, and more families placed their trust in SLS. A school began becoming a community.
Sports, competitions, cultural activities, leadership opportunities and student initiatives became an increasingly important part of the SLS experience.
Student houses, clubs, elections and leadership responsibilities created opportunities for students to participate, collaborate and lead.
Twenty-five years. Generations of students. Countless classrooms, friendships, achievements and memories โ and one continuing purpose: to help every SLS Scholar become ready for the world ahead.
25 Years. Thousands of Memories. One SLS Family.
A Silver Jubilee is more than an anniversary โ it is a celebration of every person who became part of the journey. Every student who walked through our gates. Every teacher who stood before a classroom. Every parent who trusted us with their child. Every achievement that made us proud. Every challenge that made us stronger.
As we celebrate 2001โ2026, we honour our past while continuing to build for the future. We celebrate where we started, how far we've come, and most importantly, the generations still to come.

Founder, SLS Scholars School
Behind every institution is an idea. Behind SLS was a belief in the transformative power of education. With a vision to create meaningful educational opportunities for children, Sri Saidhulu Cheekuri laid the foundation for SLS Scholars School in 2001.
The journey that began with that vision has grown over the years through the dedication of teachers, the trust of parents, and the achievements of generations of students. Today, as SLS celebrates its Silver Jubilee, the founder's vision continues to guide the institution.
"Education should not only prepare children to succeed โ it should prepare them to become good human beings."
Our vision is to nurture knowledgeable, confident, compassionate and responsible young people who are prepared to learn continuously, lead courageously and contribute meaningfully to society.
We aspire to create students who don't simply ask "What marks did I get?" โ but also "What did I learn? What can I create? How can I improve? How can I contribute?"
Develop conceptual understanding, academic discipline and a lifelong interest in learning.
Give students opportunities to communicate, participate, perform, compete and express themselves.
Provide meaningful responsibilities through student elections, houses, clubs and the Student Cabinet.
Create opportunities to explore science, creativity, technology, sports and the world beyond textbooks.
Nurture integrity, compassion, simplicity, responsibility, respect and self-discipline.
Recognise that a child's development is strongest when school and family work together.
At SLS, values aren't confined to posters on classroom walls โ they're represented through the four houses that form an important part of student life.
To speak with honesty. To act with integrity. To stand for what is right.
To understand others. To help without expectation. To lead with kindness.
To remain humble. To respect everyone. To let actions speak louder than words.
To think positively. To act responsibly. To develop strength of character.
Different houses may compete throughout the year. But the values belong to every student.
They ask questions and seek understanding.
They learn to express ideas and believe in their abilities.
They understand that consistency builds achievement.
They learn to respect people, differences and the world around them.
They aren't afraid to participate, compete, fail, learn and try again.
Not because they hold a badge โ but because they learn to accept responsibility.
At SLS, leadership begins early. Through house activities, clubs, competitions, student elections and the Student Cabinet, students are encouraged to step forward and take responsibility. They learn to communicate ideas, work as a team, represent others, make decisions, accept responsibility, celebrate victory with humility, and handle setbacks with maturity.
Because leadership isn't something children suddenly learn as adults โ it begins with the opportunities we give them today.
At SLS Scholars School, we believe every child carries unique abilities, interests and possibilities. Our role as educators is not simply to complete a syllabus โ it is to create an environment where students are encouraged to think, question, communicate, participate and grow.
Academic excellence will always remain an important part of our purpose. But alongside academics, we want our students to develop confidence, discipline, compassion, responsibility and the courage to lead.
As we celebrate 25 years of SLS Scholars School, I extend my gratitude to every parent who has trusted us, every teacher who has contributed to our journey, and every student who has carried the SLS name with pride.
"Twenty-five years is an important milestone. But our greatest achievements are not behind us โ they are sitting in our classrooms today."

Principal & Correspondent, SLS Scholars School
The world our children will enter is changing rapidly, and education must evolve with it. As SLS enters its next chapter, our focus remains on strengthening academics while creating greater opportunities for students to explore technology, innovation, communication, creativity, sports and leadership.
We will continue to evolve. We will continue to learn. We will continue to create opportunities. But the values on which SLS was built will remain unchanged โ because buildings may change, technology may change, classrooms may change, but the purpose of education remains timeless: to help children become capable, confident and compassionate human beings.
Our Past Gives Us Pride.
